A mixed level class suitable for beginning through advanced aerial silk students. Aerial conditioning fuses strong core techniques, arm and back muscle building exercises, flexibility challenges, and endurance building drills. Students work in stations, targeting specific muscle groups used to strengthen their aerial bodies. Inversions, pull ups, beats, hip keys, skin the cats, meathook, split, and backbends exercises are explored through circuits, and are designed to challenge one’s strength and flexibility.
Aerial Conditioning is the “Flames” segment of the Aireal Alchemy project. By taking this class, you will be working towards straight arm inversions, straight leg hip keys, and building your inverted climb vocabulary.
